Mr. Bradly Reist was a teacher at Northern Lebanon High School 2003 - 2013. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University. His Master of Education with Principal Certification was earned from Cabrini College. His teaching experience includes computer applications, accounting, small business management, and multiple levels of broadcast journalism in the Business Education Department.
Prior to becoming the Director of Instruction/Student Services, Mr. Reist served as the Middle School Principal. He also served as the High School Assistant Principal for the two years prior. He and his wife, Michelle, have two active sons which keep them busy. His personal goals include earning his doctoral degree and superintendent’s letter of eligibility. Mr. Reist has recently been approved to the position of Assistant to the Superintendent within the Northern Lebanon School District.
In addition to his school and family life Mr. Reist is an active volunteer in his community where he serves as a Local Emergency Management Coordinator.
Mr. Kirk Cless
Systems Administrator/Technology Director
Mr. Kirk. A. Cless served the School District of Philadelphia for 14 years before he joined the Northern Lebanon team in July 2020. As Executive Director of IT Architecture, he oversaw the implementation of instructional systems for 150,000 students and 20,000 staff across the city. Before his tenure in public education, Mr. Cless also spent 10 years working in Information Technology in private industry.
Mr. Cless holds a Master of Science Degree in Information Systems from Shippensburg University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology. He enjoys traveling with his wife, board games, and bass fishing with friends. He has a lifelong passion for both history and technology, and loves to discuss them with friends and colleagues.
Ms. Leanne Martin
Director of Business Affairs
Ms. Leanne Martin became a part of the Northern Lebanon administrative team in March 2015. Prior to coming to NL, she spent three years at the Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company and six years with TE Connectivity in various finance and accounting roles.
Ms. Martin is a 2001 graduate from Northern Lebanon, and a 2005 graduate from Widener University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. She also obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University. Leanne has three children, Bryce, Adelyn and Jayce. She enjoys traveling with her family and reading books in her spare time.
Mrs. Kayla Perez
Assistant Director of Business Affairs
Mrs. Kayla Perez joined Northern Lebanon in April 2020 as the Assistant Director of Business Affairs.
Prior to coming to Northern Lebanon Mrs. Perez spent 5 years at the Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company as a member of the finance and accounting team.
Mrs. Perez is a 2017 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where she earned a degree in Accounting. Mrs. Perez is married and has a dog named Trooper. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outside and going on walks with Trooper.
Mrs. Jennifer Hassler
High School Principal
Mrs. Jennifer Hassler is excited to be joining the Northern Lebanon school community. She begins her time at Northern Lebanon with almost 25 years of experience as a teacher and administrator. Mrs. Hassler spent many years as a teacher at various grade levels and roles. She then transitioned to administration where she has enjoyed leadership opportunities and learning experiences.
Mrs. Hassler received her Bachelor Degree from Millersville University in Elementary Education. She then furthered her educational career by receiving a Master’s Degree of Education from Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, Jennifer worked on multiple certifications at Alvernia University and received a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from California University of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Hassler and her husband Brent have two high school aged children. They enjoy games, reading, sports, and traveling together.
Dr. Benjamin Wenger
Assistant High School Principal
Dr. Benjamin Wenger has served in the Northern Lebanon School District since 2009. His positions have included 2nd grade, 6th grade, 8th grade communication arts and history, elementary principal, and secondary principal. He serves as the supervisor of instruction in the following secondary departments: mathematics, counseling, foreign language, family and consumer science, and art.
Dr. Wenger earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Messiah College. He went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Education from California University of Pennsylvania as well as his Principal Certification. Finally, he received his Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University along with his Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility in 2017. During his educational career, Dr. Wenger has also coached middle school quiz bowl, varsity baseball, and varsity cross country. During his years of coaching he was fortunate enough to be a part of two district championships and a third place team finish at the state cross country meet in 2012. The most recent activity he has been enjoying is announcing Northern Lebanon's home football games.
Dr. Wenger and his wife, Lindsey, continue to pursue their love of learning as they read books together and further their academic careers. They also enjoy playing competitive sports and games. They have been blessed with two children, Dashael and Adelina.
Mr. William Vogt

It is an honor and privilege to introduce myself as the new Middle School Principal! I am proud to join a group of knowledgeable, compassionate and dedicated professionals who are committed to providing a comprehensive and personalized educational experience for all students at Northern Lebanon Middle School!
I have had the pleasure of working in public education for over twenty years, serving as an elementary and middle school classroom teacher, high school small learning community coordinator, freshman athletic director, high school track and football coach, elementary school principal, andas a central office administrator working in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from West Chester University, Master’s Degrees from both Millersville University and California University of Pennsylvania, my K-12 Principal Certification from California University of Pennsylvania and completed coursework in the university’s Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility Program.
I embrace the importance of being a lifelong learner and my wide range of experiences and education serve me well in providing supportive school leadership to our Middle School’s most valuable resource: our exceptional teachers and staff! My guiding framework for excellence at the Middle School is based on the belief that educational decisions should be student-centered and made in the best interests of children. The social and emotional growth of all students attending the Middle School are as important to me as their academic growth and achievement.
By working together and embracing a holistic approach to education that recognizes and celebrates each child’s individual gifts and promotes student inquiry, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, we can best prepare all students to successfully meet life’s challenges and excel in the many opportunities that are ahead for them. I am eager to know all the students at the Middle School over the course of this school year! I look forward to many meaningful conversations with parents and family members throughout the year, as well as forging many strong relationships within the Northern Lebanon Community. Dr. Melissa McInerney
Elementary Principal, East Hanover & Lickdale
Dr. Melissa McInerney has been a principal with Northern Lebanon since 2004. She is currently the principal at both the East Hanover Elementary and Lickdale Elementary Schools. She obtained various levels of education through Millersville University, Penn State University, and Widener University.
Dr. McInerney enjoys playing competitive volleyball with her family and staying active as an indoor cycling instructor at a local fitness center.
Mr. John Rizzo
Elementary Principal, Jonestown & Fredericksburg
Mr. John Rizzo became part of the Northern Lebanon family in July 2015. He is currently the principal at both Jonestown Elementary and Fredericksburg Elementary Schools. Prior to his role of principal at Northern Lebanon, he served as Assistant Principal, Social Studies Teacher and Behavior/Emotional Support teacher. Graduating from Lebanon Valley College in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree.
Mr. Rizzo also played college basketball for the Dutchmen. He earned his Masters and Educational Leadership degrees from Alvernia University, and has also spent 10 years coaching high school and college basketball.
Mr. Rizzo is married and has three children. He enjoys spending time with his family and stays active by playing basketball, golfing and hiking with his yellow lab, Sadie.
Mr. John Confer
Middle School Assistant Principal/Director of Athletics
Mr. John Confer joined the Northern Lebanon staff in August 2019 as Middle School Assistant Principal and Director of Athletics and Supplemental Activities.
Mr. Confer is married and has two children.
Mr. Confer is thrilled to be a Viking and is very excited to work with the faculty, staff and students of Northern Lebanon.
Mrs. Kelly Bastek-Jones
Director of Pupil Services
Mrs. Kelly Bastek-Jones is excited to have joined the Northern Lebanon family in January as the Director of Pupil Services. Mrs. Bastek-Jones previously worked for the Lebanon School District in a variety of roles (first grade teacher, special education teacher, district behavior analyst and special education supervisor) from 2006-January 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in 2006 from Lebanon Valley College and a Master of Education (with a concentration in Teaching English as a Second Language) in 2010 from Universidad del Turabo. Additionally, Mrs. Bastek-Jones became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2015 and continues to do additional work in the field of behavior. She is currently working on her doctoral degree in Higher Administration with the superintendent’s letter of eligibility.
Mrs. Bastek-Jones and her husband, Benjamin, had a daughter in March of 2019. She keeps them very busy at home. Additionally, Mrs. Bastek-Jones brings a classroom service animal, Sebastian, to Northern Lebanon. Sebastian is a black Labrador Retriever who is designated to work in classrooms with children with and without special needs. Sebastian is also excited to join the Northern Lebanon family.
In addition to her school and family life, Mrs. Bastek-Jones is an adjunct instructor of education at Lebanon Valley College and enjoys time outside as well as fitness classes outside of the school day.
Mr. Mason Brehm
Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds
Mr. Mason Brehm is a 2014 graduate of Northern Lebanon and a 2016 graduate from Pratt Community College where he earned an Associate Degree in Farm and Ranch Management. Mr. Brehm started his employment with the Northern Lebanon School District in 2017 and in 2019 he was hired as the Director of Buildings and Grounds. Mr. Brehm takes pride in his work here at Northern Lebanon and is proud to be part of the Viking staff.
Mr. Brehm enjoys farming and rodeo in his spare time where he has won multiple awards for his rodeo achievements.
