Safe 2 Say
In 2018 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of the Attorney General, introduced the Safe 2 Say program. Safe 2 Say is a totally anonymous tool for students to report threats of violence and other serious concerns. The Safe 2 Say program is administered by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and was developed with the help of Sandy Hook Promise. Safe 2 Say allows students in grades 6-12 to make anonymous reports by phone, website or mobile app. Calls are received by trained specialists and then forwarded to either school district administrators or police for action or investigation. Northern Lebanon has several specially trained administrators and staff members that receive Safe 2 Say tips 24 hours a day. Early every school year all new 6th grade students are provided with Safe 2 Say initial training and the remaining secondary students are provided with Safe 2 Say re-familiarization training.
