Todd Klick graduated from Northern Lebanon and went on to become an award-winning screenwriter, producer, and author. He is best known for writing the social media horror film, Followed, which reached #1 at the box office June of 2020 during the nationwide Covid-19 drive-in theater resurgence. Before that, Followed won numerous festival awards, including a nomination for Best Original Screenplay for Klick. The things that Klick most appreciates about his time at NL are “NL’s basketball and baseball coaches [who] taught me a good work ethic and the importance of teamwork. The English Department taught me the value of reading the literary classics.” The following is Klick’s advice for current NL students: Find a way to earn a living at what you’re passionate about. Doing so will lead you on wondrous adventures.
