Zach Beidler graduated from NL in 2011. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Digital Communications from Lebanon Valley College, with a minor in Business Administration. For the next two years, Beidler worked as an Associate Producer with Greenfish Labs, a Virtual Reality company based out of Lancaster, PA. Creating digital content through VR has allowed him to work with a variety of clients both internationally and across the United States. In addition, Beidler has worked with several production teams for projects such as World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland and the Passion Live with Dick Clark Productions in New Orleans.
In 2017, Beidler accepted a Digital Media Specialist position for Phoenix Contact. For the past two years, he has utilized his skillset in videography, design, photography, motion graphics, and broadcasting to help produce high-quality content for Phoenix Contact. This content ranges from product videos, customer testimonials, live-stream presentations, event photography, 2D animation, and brochure ads. In addition, he travels to Germany each year to help film at the Hannover Messe, the world’s biggest Industrial Automation trade show. This past year, Beidler created his own video production business, Zach Beidler Media, which allows him to incorporate his talents in the creation of wedding videos, commercials, and testimonials for local companies in central PA.
Beidler currently resides in Mount Joy, PA with his fiancé. In their free time, they enjoy going out for dinner in Lancaster city and camping with friends on the weekends. His interests include filming weddings and commercials, playing video games, and catching up on his favorite shows. The thing that Beidler most appreciated about his time at NL was “the flexibility to play multiple sports (football and baseball) and still achieve academic success. I appreciated that Northern Lebanon helped me pursue my passion for video production and photography. I was able to grow my skillset in broadcast journalism in order to be well prepared for college.” The following is Beidler’s advice for current NL students: Try to gain as many experiences as possible at Northern Lebanon through clubs, courses, and activities. Don’t stress if you can’t find your passion right away. Just get involved and find your journey along the way.
