The Caldecott Award - Mrs. Kaczmarczyk
During library instruction, students have been discussing the nominated books for the Caldecott Award. The Caldecott Award is given annually to the best illustrated American Children's picture book published the previous year. During class students hear two of the nominated books and vote on which book is their favorite. The book with the most votes moves into the next week.
The Lost Package was the favorite for a while, but the book Mel Fell has taken the lead. Students are excited to see which book wins the 2022 Caldecott Award later this month.
