Eleventh Grade Overview and Outline
In eleventh grade, your child will take 7 courses. They will include:
Language Arts-11 (Required)
Honors Language Arts-11(Need 10th gr. ELA teacher approval)
Pre-Calculus (Required) OR
Integrated Math 3 (Need 10th grade math teacher approval) OR
Math Essentials (Need 10th grade math teacher approval)
Civics (Required)
American Government (Required)
Chemistry (Required **Unless teacher recommends a different Science)
Honors Chemistry (Need 10th Grade Biology teachers approval)
*****Students in 11th grade will also need to take:
- (1) Physical Education Course (0.5 credit)
- (1) Core Elective (0.5 to 1.0 credit)
- (3) Free Elective (3.0 credits)
Total Credits at the Completion of 11th Grade: (8 - 8.5 credits)*REQUIRED
**A Total of 24.0 Credits are needed to graduate!!!!
