ParentSquare is here, and we are excited to help bring teachers and parents together! ParentSquare is the district’s new communication and alert system.
The district will use ParentSquare to:
• Alert you of school closings, weather emergencies, and important school-wide information
Teachers will use it to:
• Notify you about classroom activities or your student’s progress
Coaches/advisors will use it to:
• Message you and students about activities, sports, and clubs
To claim your ParentSquare account, make sure to use the same email address that the district has on file for you. Note that each parent must have a unique email address.
Please submit a Parent Helpdesk Ticket at https://www.norleb.org/parents/tech-support-request if your email address is not working to access ParentSquare.
PowerSchool Parent Portal
PowerSchool Parent Portal accounts will be created automatically for all legal guardians. If you are a parent and don’t already have an account, you will receive an email invite (like this picture) before the beginning of the school year.
Just use the emailed instructions and the temporary password to set up your account.
Updating Returning Students
When it’s time to update the information for your student, you will be able to make those changes from PowerSchool!
Just look for the Returning Student Registration icon.
Schoology
If you are a parent of a student in grades 7-12 and want to create a Schoology Parent account to review your student’s class assignments in more detail, the Parent Access Codes for your student are here too!

ParentSquare is the district's communcation and alert system. Principals, teachers and district staff will use ParentSquare to notify you of imprtant information regarding your student's school, classes, sports teams and clubs. You will receive alerts for emergencies and school closings as well as messages from teachers, coaches and more. You can message your student's teachers, complete permission slips online, and submit absence excuses as through the ParentSquare app.
Schoology is the online learning system used by most students from grades 6 through 12. Teachers will assign lessons, homework and some tests and quizzes through Schoology. As a guardian, you can access some of this information to help your students learn. To create a Schoology Parent account, make sure you have your student's Access Code (provided in a letter from the school.) Then visit https://app.schoology.com/register.php?type=parent and follow the online instructions. Schoology has great resources for parents, which can be found here https://uc.powerschool-docs.com/en/schoology/latest/parents.
PowerSchool is the student information system used the district to track demographics, including addresses, telephone numbers and final grades. You can also access the Parent Portal of PowerSchool to review important information. To request a PowerSchool Parent account, or get help with your existing account, click the HELP button above and complete the form with as muich information as you can. We'll verify your information and then contact you.
Pickup Patrol helps the elementary school safely track the dismissal and transportation plans for students, including buses, authroized pickups, and early dismissals. Authorized parent and guardians will automatically receive an email invitation to create Pickup Patrol account - just follow those directions to set up your profile.
